2007 Festival - Entertainment
The holiday season is fast approaching and we are ready to celebrate. Your choir, band, and/or musical ensemble is welcome to attend and participate in a spectacular holiday event. We are seeking local church choirs, community ensembles, school choirs, bands, soloist or dance groups to offer entertainment throughout the two day Festival. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to showcase all the hard work that you or your group is undoubtedly already practicing for this Holiday season! This is a charity event where local corporations and businesses will gather in one location to show off uniquely decorated Holiday Trees. Guests will tour the trees, enjoy live, local entertainment and festive, holiday fun.
All the excitement will take place at Newlin Hall, located at the
Floyd County Fairgrounds
on Green Valley Road in New Albany. Ideally, we would like to fill
several one-half hour slots during the times the Festival will be
open.
Newlin Hall at the Floyd Country Fairgrounds will open its doors on
November 17th and 18th for the 2nd Annual Holiday Tree Festival for
public viewing. On Sunday, November 18th at 4pm a festival closing
ceremony will be held as each tree will then be given to a
Kentuckiana family or organization.
We would be honored to have your group provide some musical entertainment. All sign ups are on a first come, first serve basis. A registration form will be emailed or faxed to you.
This is one holiday event that you do not want to miss. What a great way to celebrate the season and give back to your local community.
